This is a big book of sayings, expressions and proverbs from all over the world that I researched and illustrated between 2016-2018.
Initially self-published through the help of a Kickstarter campaign, it went onto be published elsewhere with a new design and lots of additional pages

It contains over 300 illustrated sayings, comparing equivalent international versions of ideas like 'too many cooks spoil the broth' and 'being stuck between a rock and a hard place', as well as culturally unique thoughts on beards, books, dancing and all kinds of animal fun.
The variation in our ways to communicate the same core idea never ceased to amaze me and I took great joy in illustrating all the most unusual examples I could find.
